Football
Winners and losers are determined by the final score (including overtime) unless the contest is halted for any reason. In this case, the contest must have played 55 full minutes for wagers to have action, regardless of whether the game is resumed at a later date. The score at time the game is halted will determine wager outcomes.
Overtime is included in all second half wagers unless specified prior to the beginning of the contest. All contests must be played on the scheduled date to have action. Fourth Quarter wagering does NOT include overtime scores.
College football overtime procedure.
- College football overtimes commence with a 1st & 10 play at the opponents 25-yard line. The offensive team keeps possession until they score, commit a turnover, or fail to convert on 4th down. The overtime continues until the score is no longer tied and each team has had an equal number of possessions.
- All wagers on team sides and totals will include all overtime scoring.
- NFL rules and regulations will apply to CFL unless otherwise stated.

Baseball
Winners and losers are official after five innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4-1/2 innings. If a game is called, or suspended, the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning (unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called.) Monies will be refunded if the home team ties the game and it is then suspended. Events will not carry over to the following day (unless otherwise specified). We do not recognize protested games, overturned decisions, etc, for wagering purposes, and all wagers must go the day scheduled, otherwise there is no action and all monies are refunded unless Vegas rules deems an outcome final for wagering purposes, then BetJamaica will follow Vegas decisions.

Rules for the 1st 5 Innings (1st half)
- Starting Pitchers are automatically listed. If either listed pitcher does not start, wagers on the first half (5 innings) will be canceled.
- Bets are based on the score in the first 5 FULL INNINGS
- Once the first 5 Innings are completed, Bet stands weither the game is completed or not.
Rules for Run Lines and Alternate Run Lines
Starting Pitchers are Listed. the game must go nine innings (8-1/2 if the home team is ahead) to have action.
Exhibition baseball information
As in Vegas, we post Lines on Pre Season-Game without Totals or Run Lines. In addition, a tie can occur (i.e. 3-3 final score) if both teams are tied at the end of 10 complete innings.
Special baseball rules
- When wagering on total runs (over/under) the game must go nine innings (8-1/2 if the home team is ahead) to have action. If a game is called, or suspended, the score will be determined after the last full inning (unless the home team score to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the score is determined at the time the game is called). Rules for the run line wagers are the same as those for baseball totals. Wagers on total runs will be refunded if a pitching change occurs prior to both listed pitchers throwing at least one pitch.
Baseball Grand Salami is decided by the total runs scored in all major-league games scheduled for that day. All scheduled games must go at least 8½ innings. If any scheduled game is canceled or postponed before the completion of 8½ innings, all wagers on the Baseball Grand Salami will be graded no action. Listed Pitchers are not recognized for the Grand Salami; all wagers will have action regardless of the starting pitchers.
Baseball wagers will be accepted in the following manner:
- Action - team against team, regardless of the starting pitcher.
- Listed - both specified pitchers - if starting pitchers are not exactly as listed on wagering display board, and/or your ticket, your wager will be deemed "no action."
- One specified pitcher - this is a wager on or against one specified pitcher, regardless of the other starting pitcher. (examples: "Boston versus Helling" for a wager against or "Helling against anyone for Boston" for a wager on) Note: in the event there is a pitching change prior to the game, money odds may be adjusted. If one scheduled pitcher starts against an unscheduled pitcher, "action" wagers will be computed by the opening price with the new pitcher. A pitcher is deemed a starting pitcher after throwing one pitch.
- If a game goes past 9 innings and is not completed (ie. suspended, curfew, rain delay, etc.) there is action on the game total and runline wagers.
- Las Vegas rules apply in the event of unusual or unmentioned situations.
Because of the money line used in baseball, there are no set payoffs for tying a number of teams together in parlays. Payoffs are determined by a simple formula that changes the money line into a decimal number and combines it with the other lines in the parlay. The first step is to change the money line into a decimal. Use the chart at the left for this purpose. For underdogs and even money lines, use exact decimal number, for example: +135 = 1.35, even = 1.00.
How to Figure Baseball Parlays:
- For each price or odds quote on your teams, look at their respective payoffs (to $1) and always add $1 to these payoffs.
- Multiply your bet (x)times the products of these payoffs (+$1) for your parlay return.
- Example: Bet $50 on Cardinals (-150) Parlayed to Tigers (-130) Bet Cardinals Tigers Return. (-150) (-130) $50 x 1.67 x 1.77 = $147.80 Return includes the $50 bet.
- Use the same method for any number of teams.Example: Bet $75 on Cubs (+120) to Reds (-135) to Mets (even) for 3 team parlay.Bet Cubs Reds Mets Return.(+120) (-135) (ev)$75 x 2.20 x 1.74 x 2.00 = $574.20(1.00 + 1.20) (1.00 + .74) (1.00 + 1.00)Return includes the $75 bet.
- Remember to always add $1 to payoff price to figure all parlays.

Golf
General Rules
If the start of a round is delayed, or if play during a round is suspended, all pending wagers will remain valid for 48 hours. If the postponement lasts more than 48 hours, all wagers will be canceled and the monies refunded.
A golfer has started once he or she tees off on the first hole of the tournament.
We will be offering Odds and Match-ups for the entire tournament. (Unless other wise specified)
Wagers will be decided by using the official tournament scores.
"Odds to Win"- Wagering on a golfer to win the tournament
1. We offer odds for a golfer to win the tournament. If the golfer does not Tee Off to start the tournament, the wager will be "No Action" and all monies will be refund.
2. The "Field" will be all players not offered by name.
3. In the event of a golfer withdrawing after having teed off, wagers on that player will be lost.
4. If a tournament does not go the scheduled number of holes (usually 72), and PGA Officials agree to shorten it, wagers are still valid.
"Match-ups"- Wagering on match-ups between golfers
1. In head-to-head match-ups, BOTH golfers must tee off in order to have action.
2. Golfers are paired for betting purposed only. The golfer with the lower score over the entire tournament is the match-up winner.
3. The winner of the match-ups will be decided by which golfer ends up with the lowest score having played equal rounds. Both golfers MUST tee off in the tournament or the wager will be "No Action" or "Push/Cancel" and all monies will be refunded.
4. If one of the golfers misses the Cut, withdraws, or is disqualified during the tournament, the opposing golfer wins the match-up. If both golfers miss the Cut, the lowest score will determine the winner.
5. If a golfer is disqualified or withdraws after starting, either prior to the completion of two rounds or after both golfers have made the Cut, the other golfer is deemed the winner.
6. If a golfer is disqualified during either the 3rd or the 4th round, when the other golfer in the match-up has already missed the Cut, the disqualified golfer will be considered the winner.
**On major events like the US Masters, US OPEN, British Open, PGA Tour Championship, we will be offering daily match-ups. Same rules apply; both golfers must tee off in order to have action. If a golfer withdraws, or is disqualified before the end of the round, the golfer with the most completed holes or the lowest score is the winner of the match-up.
We also might offer propositions and other futures on major events, in which case rules will be specified on each individual prop or futures.
Boxing
The judges’ decision on the night of the fight will be considered final and used when grading all wagers. If the decision is overturned at a later point in time, wagers will not be re-graded.
All bets on either fighter to win will be decided by the judges’ decision, which includes points count, technical knock-out (TKO), knock-out (KO) or disqualification.
If a match is postponed and rescheduled to occur within 30 days of the original start time, all bets stand. If rescheduled for more than 30 days later, all single bets are void and wagers refunded while affected multiple bets will be recalculated excluding that leg.
Normally, without the draw option available, when the match actually ends in a draw, all contestant wagers are "No Action", and all contestant wagers are refunded. However, when a "Three-way" format is posted, and the match ends in a draw, all contestant wagers are losers. The winning wager is the "Draw" wager.
* Las Vegas Rules apply for any rules not mentioned here.
Examples of "Draw" option bets:
Example 1.
Wager format presented to Bettor:
A Jones -140 vs. Smith +120
The bettor has the option of wagering on Smith or Jones only. In the event of a Draw, all wagers are refunded.
Propositions:
B Jones by KO 6/1 / Jones by Decision 3/1 / Smith by KO 4/1 / Smith by Decision 3/1 / Draw 28/1.
This is a list of separate betting options that includes odds on proposition predicting that the match will end in a draw. A winning wager on a draw option would result in a 28/1 payout, or $100 to win $2800.
Example 2.
Wager format presented to Bettor:
(A) Jones -140 / Smith +120 / Draw +1500
The bettor has the option to wager on Jones, Smith, or a Draw. In this instance, it would be stipulated by the sportsbook that in the event of a draw, any wagers on Smith or Jones would be loser due to the "Three-way" betting format. And Draw will be the winner and would pay $1500 for every $100 wagered.
Propositions:
(B) Jones by KO 6/1 / Jones by Decision 3/1 / Smith by KO 4/1 / Smith by Decision 3/1.
This is a separate betting proposition where the Draw would result in a refund for those who wagered on Jones or Smith by KO or Decision.
Other betting options:
"Total" number of rounds is often available as a proposition.
(1 full round is 3 minutes and ½ round is 90 seconds).
Example:
Will go 7½ Rounds +120 = Risk $100 to win $120.
Will not go 7½ Rounds -140 = Risk $140 to win $100.
The bettor can either choose the Over (Will go) or the Under (Will not go) number of rounds.
If the scheduled length of the match is changed, all prior wagers on the number of rounds will be graded as "No Action".
In round by round betting, if a boxer fails to answer the bell, the fight will be deemed to have ended in the previous round.
Auto Racing
Results will be graded at the end of the race as results become offical. Appeals and administrative penalties are not applicable for betting purposes.
Auto Racing "Odds to Win"
You may wager on a driver to win the race at fixed odds. Wagering on the "Field" includes any driver that odds have not been assigned to. Drivers who fail to start the race are still considered "having action" for wagering purposes.
Auto Racing "Match-Ups"
When wagering on a match-up, both drivers involved must start the race (cross the start/finish line) otherwise the wager is "No Action" or "Push/Cancel" and money is refunded. In a case where the starting driver is replaced during the race with another driver from the same team, the position the new driver finishes in will be awarded to the original driver. This holds for wagering on win odds and/or match-ups.
Postponements
If a race or qualifier is postponed for any reason, all wagers will remain valid for 48 hours. If the postponement lasts more than 48 hours, all wagers will be canceled and the monies refunded.
Tennis
Future Odds: All bets are placed as "All In", unless otherwise specified.
If a player withdraws before the start of the tournament, all bets on that player will be graded as a loss.
Head to Head Match-ups: Two (2) FULL SETS must be completed without either player retiring or being disqualified for wagers to stand. Otherwise, wagers will be considered void (No Action or Push/Cancel).
Wagers placed on match-ups will remain action even if the match is delayed or postponed (Ex: due to weather) and completed later.
Propositions:
Sets betting or proposition on players: If a tennis match is not completed for any reasons, all proposition wagers on that match will be considered as No Action.
Individual Sets betting: the Set must be completed.
(Ex: Placing a wager on a player to win the 1st Set, or a wager on the correct score of the 1st set).
Change of Venue or Playing Surface:
If the venue or playing surface for a match is changed either before or
during the tournament, the wagers on Players Props or Matchups will be
refunded. Wagering odds for match bets will then be adjusted and have
action. Future wagers will also have action.
Soccer
- Money line wagering on soccer offers a draw line as well as sides.
- In the event of a draw example: (1-1), all wagers on either of the sides will be graded as losers.
- Only wagers placed on the draw line will be graded as a win.
- Soccer results are final after the "Official 90 minutes" is completed. (includes *stoppage time)
