AFC North rivals in Thursday spotlight

Steeler's Ben Roethlisberger The defending Super Bowl champs will be looking to keep their flickering playoff hopes alive on Thursday night as the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field.

Pittsburgh has won three of its last four games and is now 5-7 SU this season and 4-7-1 ATS. Cleveland is 4-8 SU and 6-5-1 ATS. BetJamaica currently has the host Steelers listed as 7.5-point favorites with the total sitting at 36.5. The Steelers are 7-5 against the number this season, while Cleveland is 5-7.

After being blanked by the division-leading Baltimore Ravens 27-0 two weeks ago, the Steelers bounced back on Sunday with a resounding 20-3 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Beleaguered quarterback Ben Roethlisberger completed 12 of 25 passing attempts for 198 yards and two touchdowns, while the Pittsburgh defense forced four turnovers and recorded five sacks.

Cleveland also posted a victory last week, as backup quarterback Derek Anderson stepped in for the injured Charlie Frye and completed 12 of 21 passing attempts for 171 yards and a pair of majors, as the Browns completed a fourth-quarter rally and got the game-winning field goal in overtime from kicker Phil Dawson.

The Steelers have owned the Browns in recent years, posting a 9-1 record SU and 5-3-2 ATS in their last 10 matchups. Pittsburgh defeated Cleveland 24-20 as a 4-point road chalk just last month.
